Pay a visit to Lucerna Palace in Prague on Saturday the 15th of October 2016 to commemorate the late president Václav Havel's 80th birthday anniversary. This event is a part of Havel@80 project of Prague’s Václav Havel Library to mark the late president’s anniversary throughout the whole year. Eighty singers, actors, musicians, artists, directors and writers will come to Lucerna to join this event. About forty musical bands will perform on four different stages at Lucerna and many screened films will be shown in the café and the small viewing hall. A new photo book called Hele, Havel will be introduced, presenting interesting photographs taken by nonprofessional photographers. Famous personalities that will be onboard at the commemoration include Michal Ambrož, Jiří Dědeček, Eva Holubová, Jaroslav Hutka, David Koller, Emma Smetana, Karel Schwarzenberg, Michael Žantovský, music bands Květy, Portless, Republic of Two – to name a few (a complete list can be found on the Facebook page and web page of www.vaclavhavel-library.org). The Lucerna event starts at 5 p.m. on Saturday the 15th of October and lasts until the wee hours of Sunday morning.
