Classic Living in Prague
This three-bedroom, one-and-a-half bathroom apartment with free Wi-Fi Internet is the perfect setting for families staying in Prague. The apartment is in the Jewish quarter - a most popular neighborhood with luxury high-end fashion boutiques, antique stores and wonderful dining options. The family flat is in an Art Nouveau building with 24-hour reception, a lift, and overlooks the evocative Old Jewish Cemetery, and with views of the Rudolfinum, the Vltava River, Lesser Town, and the Prague Castle complex. The 3rd floor apartment features three spacious bedrooms (one with an original ceramic stove), a living room with fully fitted kitchen corner & dining area (overlooking the cemetery), a full bathroom with bathtub, 2nd toilet, and a spacious hall with a sofa bed. All of the main rooms feature beautifully intricate floral design ceiling plaster, parquet flooring, and large windows; the windows and doors boast original brass hardware throughout. To reach the apartment, you must walk up a short flight of stairs from the lift.
Prague's Jewish Quarter
Situated on the corner of two bustling Jewish quarter streets with plenty of eateries, shops and bars (Czech food, Kosher food, jewelry & antique boutiques, Report's fine Italian fashion for men, etc.) and across from the evocative Old Jewish Cemetery and the Pinkas Synagogue this is a most sought after location for Prague accommodation. The Pinkas Synagogue, which now functions as a memorial for the Holocaust victims from Czech lands, is a good starting point for touring the Jewish Museum in Prague (made up of several other synagogues in the neighborhood). Also in the neighborhood are the fabled Vltava River, the Rudolfinum concert hall and art gallery, and the Museum of Decorative Arts; the Rudolfinum boasts Dvořák Hall (one of the oldest music halls in Europe, with excellent acoustics), and spacious galleries that feature temporary modern and contemporary art exhibitions, while the Museum of Decorative Arts showcases strides in signature Czech design. Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, and Lesser Town - all these mesmorizing sights and areas are within comfortable walking distance.
