As Jiřina Tauchmanová says, it all started when she sewed through her finger as a child. As a small kid she was already interested in the world of fashion and this passion has stayed with her ever since. Nowadays, her name is a famous brand in the fashion world. Her fashion salons in Nová Paka and Prague offer custom-made clothes for women and men, services for companies, organize fashion shows and provide consultancy in styling and image. Jiřina Tauchmannová gets most of her inspiration while traveling, and from the various materials that she uses. She designs clothes not only for women (wedding dresses, evening wear, casual fashion, summer dresses, knitwear, maternity fashion, etc.), but also for men – she designs and sews linen suits and luxury shirts – and even for children (knitwear). Jiřina Tauchmanová established her company in 1991, and since 1998 she has been focusing only on original fashion production. At first she founded her own fashion salon in Nová Paka in 1998, later (in 2006) one in Prague. Jiřina Tauchmanová designs fashion for many Czech celebrities and presents her collections at fashion shows every year.
