If you are looking for an alternative to your regular night out in Prague, pay a visit to the AnonymouS Shrink’s Office, a cool underground cocktail bar in the atmospheric style of American speakeasy bars. The concept here is a cool one. You enter the bar via a secret door and descend into a dark cellar that is both cozy and elegant with professional bartender chaps playing their 1920’s part to perfection in their clean-cut uniforms, waiting to serve your needs. The bar not only is inspired by speakeasies, but also by the Swiss Freudian psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, Hermann Rorschach – famous for his Rorschach inkblot test. The bar draws inspiration both from the man and his fantasy counterpart, the Rorschach character from The Watchmen comic book series (who wears a mask with a face resembling an inkblot test). So, you could say that the bartenders are not bartenders at all, but therapists ready to prescribe medicine for you that will ease your mind. You can select a unique Shrink’s Inkblot drink via the inkblot test overseen by your “therapist”, by simply telling them your specific ailment or phobia, or you can simply choose your favorite drink from their well-stocked selection of high-end liquor and spirits. This unique bar is worth a visit – we recommend reservations as it is quite an intimate space, which, of course, adds to the overall atmosphere.
