Located in Neveklov near Benešov, just on the edge of Prague, Minarik Dressage welcomes horse riders of all levels, and offers everything from basic initial riding lessons for beginner adults and children to advanced-level professional lessons in dressage and other styles. Trainers Filip Minařík and Kateřina Bártová both became enamored with the world of horsemanship after spending time working and training in racing stables in Ireland, where they became enthusiasts of the British Horse Society, before moving on to train under famous British rider David Pincus. In keeping with the BHS methods and ideology, Minarik Dressage trainers aim to improve the lives of each of the horses they care for, by combining a deep love for equines with the know-how and experience to best care for them in safe, clean, and comfortable surroundings. Now, they offer this wealth of knowledge and experience to students of all levels, as well as help with preparation for the Czech basic rider's exams and the stages exams offered by the BHS. Semi-annual riding clinics are offered at Minarik Dressage, such as the popular June 2012 clinic with British rider, trainer, and breeder Serena Pincus, as featured on EquiTV. Filip Minařík and Kateřina Bártová are not only world-class riders and trainers, but also artists specializing in equestrian-themed paintings. Filip's paintings especially have achieved success in galleries both in the Czech Republic and across the British Isles, where one painting was voted Best Racing Picture of the Year by the iconic Horse and Hound Magazine.
