Park and Ride Facilities in Prague

Drivers living outside of Prague who need to get to the capital city fast, but who wisely do not want to drive into the city center, can take advantage of Prague's excellent and very affordable P+R parking facilities. These Park and Ride parking lots are located in the vicinity of public transport stops, usually near metro stations. There are two P+R parking lots and garages at the metro stops Skalka, Černý Most and Zličín, as well as P+R facilities near the metro stops of Nové Butovice, Opatov, Chodov, Ládví, Rajská Zahrada, Palmovka, Nádraží Holešovice, and Depo Hostivař and further afield, off of the metro network, in Radotín and Běchovice. The parking lots are open from 4 a.m. till the end of metro operating hours, which is around 1 a.m. The price for parking is CZK 20 and drivers can also purchase discounted tickets for the Prague public transport at these car parks. If a car is not picked up in time, the driver has to pay CZK 100. Drivers can check the space availability of individual parking lots online at the Prague Public Transit Company website. The car parks also provide R + B (Bike and Ride) service enabling cyclists to leave their bicycle at the parking lot for a refundable deposit of CZK 20.
