If you would rather experience something magical instead of spending the Three Kings Day at home, visit the St. Salvator Church, situated within reach of Old Town Square, on January 6, 2017. During the evening hours, the picturesque church will be enlivened by the pleasing tones of Three Kings Day concert, brought to you by En Arché, a chamber choir based in Prague. Alongside with a selection of traditional, yet rarely known Czech carols, the program includes Missa pastoralis in D for soprano, alto, tenor, bass, choir and orchestra. A unique piece of classical music composed by Václav Jan Kopřiva, Bohemian composer, organist and an outstanding figure of 18th century music scene, is the first Christmas Mass which contains both Latin and Czech passages. Besides the music selection, you will surely be captivated by the performance of the En Arché chamber choir. It consists of amateur singers who are brought together by passion for beautiful classical music and the effort to preserve Czech folklore and culture. Ticket sales start at 6:30 p.m., one hour before the concert begins.
