Start with Children

Start with Children

In order for residents to get to work quickly and conveniently, cities created roads and highways. What if cities changed their priorities and put children at the centre of planning? Greener, safer and more convenient spaces would be created that are suitable for all residents and where children would want to live out their adult lives. The Mayor of Bratislava Matúš Vallo likes Bratislava, Adam Gebrian, a popularizer of architecture, Kateřina Eklová, an expert in sustainable construction, and Simon Battisti, an urban planner and curator of the content of the Start with Children Summit, will discuss why planning should be based on the opinions of children, not adults, and why the opposite does not work. *The discussion will be conducted in English.*
