*Due to great interest the organiser decided to open the dress rehearsal to public.* New music performed by the BERG Orchestra – spatial composition by Matouš Hejl. The singers and musicians will move around the church that thus becomes a unique music instrument, the sound will literally embrace the audience. *Program:* - Matouš Hejl – Vespers (world premiere) – a new spatial composition *Performing:* - Barbora Kabátková, Pavla Radostová, Daniela Čermáková, Lucie Karafiátová, Vojtěch Semerád, Ondřej Benek, Jiří Miroslav Procházka – singers - Ondřej Valenta – organist of St. Vitus Cathedral - Miřenka Čechová – staging collaboration - Orchestr Berg & Peter Vrábel – conductor The evening is organized by the Metropolitan Chapter of St. Vitus in Prague, Institute of Archaeology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Karlín Parish at St. Cyril & Methodius and Berg Orchestra. Orchestr Berg is a Czech ensemble specialising in the performance of contemporary music. Since its inception, it has commissioned and premiered almost three hundred new works. In 2021, it won the prestigious Prix Italia award for the Czech Republic for the first time in more than half a century.
