Dynamo Restaurant

Dynamo Restaurant is a cool establishment in the center of Prague serving delicious eats in a hip interior that simply oozes retro ambience. Founded in 1999 - and awarded for its interior design created by Olgoj Chorchoj and Aleš Najbrt the very same year, Dynamo is one of our favorite restaurants for a business lunch or dinner with friends. The light and airy non-smoking restaurant consists of a small room with a wooden bar and a main dining area. Decorated with retro inspired Czech-made wallpaper from the local Lavmi brand, beautiful wooden benches, chairs and stools with curved lines, retro pastel colors (mint green, mustard yellow), cool lighting and more, Dynamo is one cool cat – it has a sort of cool vintage vibe yet retains a modern elegant feel. The extensive menu features European cuisine and is good for both meat eaters and vegetarians. We highly recommend the Eggplant Chutney for a starter, the large Mixed Salad (mozzarella, peppers, cashews, sun-dried tomatoes, a mixture of olives, pears, arugula, and lettuce), and the Grilled Pork Steak (served with burgundy onions roasted in red wine, thyme and honey) with a side of Spinach Mashed Potatoes (which are more of a formed square of thinly slicked potatoes and spinach – simply delicious and fresh). Dynamo gets not only an A+ for their high quality innovative European cuisine (great value for money here), but also for the lovely presentation of the food. Furthermore Dynamo boasts a good dessert list, a fine selection of Moravian and international wines, and a variety of whiskey labels. Should you be in need of a cool venue for a special occasion, reception, press conference, party, or a small gathering with family or friends, Dynamo is a great choice and will happily assist you. For high quality innovative and affordable continental cuisine in an atmospheric setting, Dynamo is your best bet.
