Prague Venice

The Prague Venice Company offers atypical and therefore unique views of Prague. Seeing the city of one hundred spires from this vantage point is something that even many Prague natives haven’t experienced. All you have to do is head out to Křížovnické Square and walk down the steps to the spot where the first stone bridge in Bohemia once stood—the Judita wharf, hidden in the secret part of Old Town lost under the water. From here, you will go on a sightseeing cruise on their Vodouch-type of wooden boat, which is a faithful replica of the vessels that used to cruise up and down the Vltava River in the 19th century. The Prague Venice Company offers their rides year-round. In the summer, you can enjoy a cool glass of beer or a refreshing non-alcoholic beverage; in the winter you can warm up with a cup of mulled wine by a period furnace. The 45-minute cruise will take you to see Prague’s oldest water gauge named Bradáč and will allow you to glimpse the panorama of the Prague Castle from a different angle. You will discover the heart of the Čertovka Canal and sail around the Hanavské Pavilion on Letná and the stately buildings on the Dvořák Embankment. Refreshments and a visit to the Charles Bridge Museum are included in the ticket price. The Prague Venice Company also organizes corporate events and private parties aboard its boats. You would be hard pressed to find a better way to enjoy the city’s most beautiful sights from a whole new perspective.
