Friends Bar & Club
Located in the maze-like labyrinth that is the Old Town district of Prague and situated in an ancient cellar is Friends, a welcoming and spacious café, bar and club all in one. Friends is a gay-friendly establishment where you can be yourself and have a great time in the cool cellar interior that is complete with large TV screens playing good pop, new wave and indie music, comfortable seats, a small dance floor (although if the mood strikes, you can dance wherever you happen to be!) and attractive lighting. Friends features mouthwatering cocktails at affordable prices for the center of Prague, proving that at some establishments a fun dance and conversation filled night out on the town still won’t break the bank in the city of Prague. Friends presents a wide variety of party events, providing a little bit of something for everyone. Tuesday nights are for Karaoke while Travesty Thursdays are for hooking up and from time to time FAMU (film students) students present multimedia soirees and other student parties. During the weekends musicians perform alongside top DJs (well-known DJs among the gay crowd including DJ Tiffa and DJ Henriette), creating a musical fusion that creates a unique party atmosphere where you can dance and party the night away. Friends features happy hours from 6 to 9 p.m. with a 30% discount on special drinks (mojitos for 67CZK, pina coladas for 67CZK, cuba libres for 63CZK) and also features special monthly parties titled Freedom Night for lesbian ladies and Gay Night with with DJ Slavo and many sexy surprises (stripteases!). Friends opens at 6 p.m. and closes when the last guest leaves and as an extra-added bonus Friend's provides a 15% discount for regular guests.
