Klub K2
Klub K2 at Prague's Zahradní Město is an NGO whose mother and child club has been operating since 2005. As with the majority of similar centers, the people behind Klub K2 have not only professional experience with childcare, but also personal experience as parents. The club primarily supports parents with children ranging in age from newborns to 6 years of age and aims to enlighten society in the area of equal opportunities for men and women. Besides creating free time activities for children that include art, music, exercise and English classes, Klub K2 also focuses on education of parents and especially on the support of women who want to go back to work after having spent several years on maternity leave and make their return to work easier. Every Tuesday and Thursday the Children's Club or Let's Try It Without Mums is open for children from 2 years of age. The price for one child per one hour is CZK 130, the whole morning costs CZK 500. If you live in Prague and are in need of babysitting service, this is the place to turn to. Regularly there are celebrations of St. Nicholas, Halloween, various workshops, and more at Club K2 for children and mothers. You can organize a birthday party for your child in the club's playroom and thanks to its size you do not need to worry about how many of your child's friends you are going to invite. At the edge of the Hostivařský Park, at K Horkám 40, there is the K2 kindergarten with its interesting integrated forest program, under which children spend regularly one or two mornings a week in the forest no matter what the weather conditions are like, which provides for some great lessons on ecology in all conditions. Companies can also make use of K2's services when they need to organize an accompanying interactive program for an event or children's corner for their employees' children or build a company nursery from scratch.
