Sklárny Rope Course

If you find yourself in the area west of Rakovník and long for some adrenaline, visit the Sklárna Rope Course. However, do not forget to order your visit in advance if you want to have an instructor at your disposal who will also provide you with all the necessary climbing equipment. All visitors have to be at least 10 years old and measure at least 140 cm (4 feet 7 inches). You will need to change into suitable clothes, play several icebreaker games and learn how to secure each other against falling after which you can set off for a pirate boat made of ropes in the height of eight meters. Three types of routes are available differing in the number of obstacles. At such a height you will have to overcome not only various obstacles but also often yourself. Obstacles such as a net, log, rope bridge, stirrups and many more or less difficult obstacles wait for you in the height. If you climb to the main mast you will be observing the ground from as high as 16 meters. The best of all awaits you at the end – you will get back to the ground by a zip line.
