If you are a lover of fine coffee and love to grab one to go on your way to work or to a social event, Costa Coffee is your one stop shop. With locations throughout Prague, Costa Coffee is conveniently available for you wherever you might be in Prague. Super coffee quality and a high class and ethical franchise style, Costa Coffee is Britain’s answer to America’s Starbucks; in fact Costa Coffee is the second largest coffeehouse chain in the world behind Starbucks but is, according to its fans, the best. Costa Coffee was founded in London by two Italian brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa in 1971 and now has stores in more than 28 countries worldwide. As Costa Coffee has different locations throughout Prague it is easy to pop into the most convenient one for you, however the best Costa in our opinion is the one located in the Rococo Passage (Pasáž Rokoko) off of bustling Wenceslas Square. This intimate café features comfortable seats inside as well as an array of tables and chairs in the passage. The passage in itself is a treat as it features a lovely glass roof, hammered brass doors and window frames, golden Art Nouveau faces, and plasterwork depicting all of the astrological signs. With free Wi-Fi, a variety of cakes, muffins and savory treats, and of course, Costa’s world class coffee, this café is a great place to sit, dream, relax and rejuvenate yourself with a great cup of coffee!
